Through the keyhole

Welcome back too ACN Scotland’s blog. Today I thought I would provide an insight into an ordinary day at the office.

.45 I get off  the busy Glasgow to Motherwell train and begin my walk to the office.

.50 I arrive at the office and make myself a cup of tea: Office 2.9, Dalziel Building, 7 Scott Street Motherwell (in case you want to visit us).

.00 My day begins with a  quick check of the emails. So far today I have a few from MSPs who are looking to arrange a time to meet them and tell them about all things ACN.

.30 As the Communications Executive in Scotland one of my responsibilities is to update and maintain our Social Media profile. As of today we have 116 Likes on Facebook and 24 Followers on Twitter. Have you LIKED and FOLLOWED us yet?

.30 With our Annual Witness Event only 3 weeks away we began sending out the invitations this morning and organising the liturgy.  If you would like to come please phone me (01698 337 472).

.30 ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME’ My birthday was marked with cake and a card. A special mention must go out to Lorraine McMahon (Head of Operations in Scotland) for singing Happy Birthday to me.

.00 The post arrives and it is truly remarkable to see first hand the daily generosity of our benefactors.

.00 Lunch time. Today I have a salad and ham sandwich and a green apple.

.30 Poster design time. We now have a poster to advertise our October event.

.30 Time to write a Press Release for the event.

.30 Last look at Facebook and Twitter.

.00 HOME TIME.
