Something different....

Morning,

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend and if you were at Mass enjoyed the Feast of Christ the King.

Today I thought I would write about something slightly different, but of course still very much Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) Scotland related.

Introducing Scotland's team of existing Area Secretaries to my blog readers:

What is the role of an Area Secretary?

The role of an Area Secretary is to present the work of ACN in the area to which he or she is appointed. He or she will work in a specific area of the Diocese(s) / Area(s) with the permission of the Bishop(s) concerned.

Through talks, appeals and presentations, the primary task of the Area Secretary is to raise funds and to raise awareness among Catholics of the charity’s pastoral and spiritual work.
