LET'S END RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION

On Wednesday the 5^th November, Aid to the Church in Need Scotland launched: Religious Freedom in the World Report 2014. 

(For those who were unable to attend I will update you in more detail ASAP)

Main findings...

Assessing all religious groups and covering events from autumn 2012 to summer 2014, the report is the most comprehensive report on religious freedom by a Catholic charity.

- In 60% of countries worldwide religious freedom is compromised. 

- Only 6 countries showed some form of an improvement.

- Almost every identifiable faith group experiences some degree of persecution somewhere in the world. 

- Christians remain the most persecuted faith in the world.
